Printing passport photos at Walgreens
Walgreens can print your passport photo file as a standard 4×6 photo — the same product as any other personal picture. You upload a ready-made six-up sheet (or a correctly sized 4×6 layout), order one print, and cut out 2×2 copies after pickup.
Walgreens does not validate your photo for passport acceptance. Final acceptance is determined by the issuing authority.
What to prepare first
- A digital 4×6 sheet with multiple 2×2 images — see how to print a 4×6 passport photo sheet.
- Your 2×2 formatting checked for head size, background, and sharpness.
Walgreens photo print workflow
- Open Walgreens photo prints: photo.walgreens.com/store/prints (public site; not a partner integration with Passport Photo Rescue).
- Sign in or continue as guest.
- Choose Prints → 4×6 (or single 4×6 print).
- Upload your 4×6 sheet file — do not let the editor crop a single face unless you know the output size stays correct.
- Select matte finish when available.
- Choose store pickup or shipping per normal photo orders.
- After pickup, cut 2×2 squares with scissors; keep edges straight.
In-store kiosk tips
- Bring the file on your phone or a USB drive if the kiosk supports it.
- Ask for a standard 4×6 print of your uploaded image.
- Review the preview for blur before you pay.
Baby passport photos
If you are printing a baby passport sheet, the same 4×6 workflow applies. For capture help, see baby passport photo at Walgreens and baby requirements.
What Walgreens does not do
- Guarantee passport or government acceptance
- Replace official photo rules with in-store “passport photo” upsells as validation
- Fix a poorly cropped or shadow-heavy source file — garbage in, garbage out
Alternatives
- Print at CVS — same 4×6 bar
- Format files on our US passport photo tool before you upload to any retailer
Next step
Build your 4×6 sheet on Passport Photo Rescue, then upload it to Walgreens photo prints for a standard 4×6 order.
